Baited Black Bear Hunting in Alaska

that starts on June 16th until June 22nd.
Costs from $7,500.00.

This is a 7-day baited Black Bear hunt! Clients can expect to see a number of various bears. The typical size harvested is between 5.5ft and 7.5ft.

What to Expect

Clients will fly into Anchorage from their home airport. Where they will be picked up by an A-Team representative or a shuttle van service that typically will take them to an Airbnb where they will spend the night. The following morning, they will fly out of Anchorage and begin the hunt. Since clients cannot hunt the day they fly they will spend the first day in camp making a game plan for the next day.

The following morning your guide will take you to one of our bait stations we have set up. Clients can expect to walk anywhere from three to several miles depending on the ability and location of bait stations. Upon arrival, there will already be a tree stand set up for both you and your guide. You may either camp in stake-out tents or hike back to base camp each night depending on capability, distance, and preference.

Once the bear is harvested, it is our top priority to preserve and prepare the bear for leaving the field, we turn and salt the hide in camp drying it out to keep it fresh and ready for tanning services to begin. Once the hunt is over, the client will be brought back into town, we recommend to all clients they use "Arctic Wolf Tannery" in Anchorage, they do over 90% of my customers' work, and my own personal hides as well. They make our customers a top priority and get my clients' work done much faster than the average wait times. They will tan the hide, clean the skull and custom crate, and ship the bear to your home or taxidermist of choice.
